RETRACTED BOOK: Online Shopping Behavior Not Only in Times of Crisis

Veronika Svatošová

The subject of this monograph is an evaluation of the development of online shopping behavior and determinants that influence the online shopping decision-making process, not only in times of ongoing economic and health crises. The intention of the presented monograph is to identify determinants that influence the current online shopping behavior, especially in the Czech online environment. The main goal of the monograph is to identify differences in online shopping behavior before and during the economic and health crisis caused by the new type of coronavirus COVID-19. The first partial goal of the monograph is to identify determinants that affect online shopping behavior in the Czech online environment before and during the economic and health crisis caused by a new type of coronavirus COVID-19. The second partial goal of the monograph is to identify whether the changes that occurred during the ongoing economic and health crisis caused by the new type of coronavirus COVID-19 in online shopping behavior are permanent or temporary. The third partial goal of the monograph is to evaluate the relationship between online shopping behavior before and during the COVID-19 crisis selected generational cohorts. The monograph is based on a primary research in the form of a questionnaire survey among a selected group of respondents that assess the determinants influencing their online purchasing decisions before and during the ongoing crisis caused by a new type of coronavirus COVID-19. The monograph thus offers a comprehensive concept identifying current knowledge in the field of online shopping behavior primarily in the Czech online environment and at the same time responding to a new phenomenon of the ongoing health and economic crisis caused by a new type of coronavirus COVID-19. The intention of the research and the whole monograph is also to evaluate future developments in the field of online shopping behavior. Relevant research has not yet been carried out in the researched area, and therefore this monograph aims to fill this research gap.
