Wireless Signal Processing in GNU Radio Environment
Study text
- Remigiusz Olejnik
The book is a teaching resource produced as part of the project “Innovative Open Source Courses for Computer Science”. It is dedicated to teachers, students and people interested in gaining or extending their knowledge in the use Wireless Signal Processing in GNU Radio Environment. GNU Radio is a free and open source software development toolkit that provides signal processing blocks to implement Software Defined Radios (SDRs). It is a highly modular, “flowgraph”-oriented framework, that comes with a large set of existing blocks. GNU Radio can be used with readily-available low-cost external RF hardware (such as RTL-SDR or HackRF) to create software-defined radios. It is a great tool to be used at any university course related with wireless/radio signal processing. Presented examples could be easily built and run and form a solid base for further experimentation.
