The second volume of Kríd's Diary is a loose continuation of the first part, published in January 2024. Although also this time most of the texts were written mainly in Czech, the Spanish versions of the poems are presented first. The book is intended for international readers and students of Spanish. The texts are arranged chronologically, but of course it is not necessary to read them in the same order. In terms of genre, in most cases the content could be classified as “queer poetry” written in free verse. Kríd's work oscillates around themes such as relationships, sexuality and faith. Using enjambment, the author plays with the meaning of words and the formal structure of the poems. Combined with his black and white photographs, often in a noir style, he creates an original, multi-layered composition.
