This study explores the socio-economic impacts of natural rubber cultivation in Colombia, emphasizing its potential to foster rural development and promote bioeconomic growth. By analyzing the industry's current challenges—such as limited market access, insufficient technical knowledge, and inadequate policy support—the research identifies opportunities for enhancing the sustainability of rubber cultivation. The findings provide valuable insights for developing strategies that integrate economic, social, and environmental objectives, contributing to Colombia's long-term rural development goals.
