The aim of this experiment was to evaluate the production parameters of fast-growing broiler chickens when incorporating rapeseed extracted meal into the feed mixtures. A control diet (C) containing only soybean extracted meal was formulated, and an experimental diet that included an 8% proportion of rapeseed extracted meal (REM). A total of 64 male chicks of the Ross 308 hybrid were included in the trial. No statistically significant differences in live weight were observed during the control weighings. The assessment of carcass yield and major meat parts also showed no statistically significant differences between the groups, indicating that the use of alternative protein feeds does not have a negative effect on these parameters. Overall, the results show that the partial replacement of soybean extracted meal with rapeseed extracted meal can be implemented without adverse impacts on most of the evaluated production indicators in broilers.
