The methodology describes the grapevine morphology and physiology, including important but lesser-known concepts that help vintners better understand wood structure. It then addresses the theory of precision pruning according to the Simonit & Sirch method, focusing on proper vine training and common shortcomings in vineyard management. The following section outlines the possibilities for transforming vineyards into more sustainable forms using this method and factors influencing its integration into conditions in the Czech Republic. Finally, the economic aspects of implementing the methodology are discussed, including a comparison of the costs of manual and mechanized practices.
