This article deals with the influence of methods and tools of quality management systems on the performance of wood processing companies in Slovakia in times of crisis. The main goal of this paper is to find out the agility of companies, i.e. whether a company can demonstrate greater flexibility, adaptation and prompt response to unforeseen changes through effective quality management. This research takes place in the context of solving the challenges brought by the COVID-19 crisis within wood processing companies in Slovakia.
