The aim of this paper is to estimate the social benefits of the KOZA community garden in Nitra using a social return on investment framework. The paper presents a partial result of the SROI analysis and primarily focuses on the identification and description of stakeholders, outputs, outcomes and impacts on the basis of a composed impact map and theory of change. The results show that the community garden brings diverse benefits to the stakeholders, stemming not only from the cultivation of crops but also from socialization or educational activities on sustainable agriculture. The application of SROI has shown that investing one Euro creates a social value of 2,15 Euros.
