The aim of this experiment was to formulate broiler chickens´diets with a reduced inclusion level of soybean meal and to supplement nitrogenous compounds with alternative protein sources. A control diet (K) containing only soybean meal as the protein supplement was prepared, along with two innovative diets. Diet F1 included, in addition to soybean meal, white lupin (4.5–5% of the diet depending on the production phase), sunflower meal, and rapeseed meal (both included at 4% of the diet). Diet F2 contained the same protein sources as F1 and was further supplemented with 5% insect meal derived from black soldier fly larvae. Ross 308 broiler chickens were used in the feeding trial and were reared for 35 days. All groups achieved a slaughter weight exceeding 2.1 kg, with the lowest live body weight recorded in the F2 group, which was also reflected in feed conversion ratio. Overall, the results suggest that both partial replacements of soybean meal are feasible, and their suitability appears to increase during the later stages of the fattening period.
